1. Visit our RSI ORG PAGE and submit an application.
In order to be a full member of the KOS, you must ensure to make the KOS your regular org in your RSI settings after your application has been accepted.

2. Complete the Enrolment Questionnaire.
The questionnaire is used to gather your interests and experience in placing you within a unit that will be your home in the KOS.

3. Registering yourself on FLEETYARDS.

Follow these instructions to add ships to your personal fleet:

  • Sync your FleetYards fleet with your RSI Hangar using the FleetYards Sync extension/addon by pressing the "SYNC RSI HANGAR" button in your "My Hangar" on the FleetYards website.

  • Change all your added ships to "purchased" and "public" so they appear in the KOS PMC Fleet (if you are adding ships manually, make sure you only put your pledged ships from the RSI site on to your FleetYards hangar. NOT your in-game purchased ships).

  • Once you have added and changed all your ships to "purchased" and "public", use this link (https://fltyrd.net/fi/wYSyxwrSJw/) to join the KOS PMC Fleet.

  • You can access the KOS PMC Fleet by clicking on "Fleets" on the left-hand side menu.

You can also download the FleetYards desktop app!

4. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

NOTE: Though you are joining only one unit, that does not stop you from participating with other units. For example, you can easily join up with Auldran Wing on their ops as a member of Chimera Wing, or vice versa.
We just discourage frequent unit changes as it ends up being an administrative nightmare.
However, if you've genuinely found a different gameplay loop as your new passion and commitment, we can absolutely change your unit to accommodate you!

Once we have you set up in a Wing/Battalion, and you have applied in the RSI Org site for the KOS (linked above), you will be considered fully part of the KOS.
Of course, you are not bound to your unit in ways that you will deny you a position on any operations other units may have ongoing.
We want our members to have a good time and enjoy the game. So whenever we have operations, exercises, and such events within various units, everyone is welcome to join in.

ACTIVITY:
We know and understand that IRL commitments and requirements come first. Gaming is a hobby and likewise, making unreasonable expectations for activity is something we do not hold over our members.
We just ask that you join in on as many Friday Org Nights as you can and be generally active in the KOS Discord server - contribute/participate in discussions - which will also help you get to know your fellow Knights.

When SC reaches a full 1.0 release in the future, Friday Org Nights will be the more important org night to attend (more so than now) since will be doing our main org-wide operations then.

NOTE: While we won't have an absolute mandatory attendance for every Friday/Saturday night even when SC goes 1.0, we will begin conducting more operations at the unit level and org-scale level and expect people to attend (when they have indicated intent to attend) when we require the numbers to complete a raid/mission/Op/etc.
If attendance on Friday and Saturday Org Nights are an issue for you, we ask that you remain active in the KOS Discord server and participate as much as possible.

CURRENT WEEKLY EVENTS:

  1. Friday Org Night - Our official Star Citizen org training exercises and operations nights on Fridays starting at 7:30PM CST (NA).

  2. Saturday Chill Org Night - A less formal and relaxed org night on Saturdays at 8PM CST (NA), centered around Star Citizen. However, Saturday Org Nights can also be used to extend events from Friday Org Nights.

  3. Sunday Funday Org Night - A chill evening org night that dips into the other games that KOS members play as a group on Sundays at 7PM CST (NA).

As the organization grows, the Fleet Division, Wing, and Battalion Commanders will implement varying and interesting training and operation plans which will allow individual units to focus and grow their own skill sets.
This means more frequent and complex event nights at the Wing/Battalion and Squadron/Regiment level in addition to full org scale operations.

However, in addition to the above, you will also often find our members active on Discord throughout the week.
Simply drop a message on the general chat if you want anyone to join you or join anyone when you see them online!

JOINING OTHER ORGS:
We definitely don't mind you being in other orgs but request that you make us your official org if you wish to be a full member of KOS to reap benefits as a regular force member (unit, rank, position, Org Fleet Hangar, KOS Joint Bank Account, etc.).

COURSES:
We also have courses for new players and experienced players! After finishing each course, you will receive a qualification which not only allows you to take more responsibilities and perks within the KOS, but also increase your skills in the game!
You will find all the available courses to take on our Courses Page.

  1. Basic Introduction Course (BIC): This course is mandatory for all KOS members as it explains our org in detail (structure, rank system, fleet, ID system, and etc). Do this course in your down time and chip away at it. There is no time limit or pressure to get it done fast. I'd rather you take in all the information rather than small bits of it.

  2. Basic Training Course (BTC): is an optional but very useful course for new players of Star Citizen. This course teaches you all the basics you need to play Star Citizen. It will put you in an in-game class with an instructor, so this is as interactive as it gets! Simply follow the link provided above and sign up for the course after you have completed the Basic Introduction Course (BIC).

  3. Intermediate Training Course (ITC): This course is heavily recommended to all KOS members as it teaches Communication and Radio Procedure used within the KOS. It also teaches Formation Flight which is an essential skill that is used at almost all times during exercises and operations.

  4. The Basic Officer Training Course (BOTC): This course is a required course for all officers in the KOS. We hold our officers to a much higher standard as opposed to our NCOs and NCMs (regular members). This course will ensure that we are all on the same page and make sure that we all exercise our responsibilities at the same high standard.

I understand that this may be a little intimidating, however this is so that we have the infrastructure to accommodate large numbers of players, and a solid chain of command to make sure we function effectively!

Please take the time to read through ALL the information above.

And again, take your time reading and completing the package.
